in archiving environments.
EC2 as a CD tester
CD's are checked against the CD Specifications. Parameters
include TOC and PQ information, Status bits, UPC/EAN and ISRC
data, full Error statistics, Level information.
The self contained 3U rack mount unit houses a specially selected
optical chassi for maximum repeatability and accuracy. This
means that the user will always get the same result in the
same tester or in any other EC2. Control of the dedicated
hardware is handled by an internal PC. Software and format upgrades
are easily accomplished via the built in floppy drive.
EC2 CD Tester Outputs and Parameters
EC2 outputs are provided for printer, alarm, headphones, analog
audio and digital audio via AES/EBU as well as SPDIF coax.
